-If you live in the city or suburbs or plan on walking your dog on pavement on hot sunny days...Don't! Paved roads, sidewalks and any other form of concrete gets extremely hot in the sun and will burn your dog's feet. -Don't travel with your pets in the car on warm days, not only do they hate the heat in your vehicle (air-conditioned or not) their fur really sheds in the summer and it will be ALL OVER your car.
